Asian Community Development Center (ADC) is a Utah-based nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing health, knowledge, and belonging among immigrant, refugee, and underserved communities. ADC was created to serve as a trusted community hub where individuals and families can access culturally responsive education, public health awareness, workforce support, community resources, and opportunities for connection.
Our mission is to empower individuals and families by reducing barriers to information, services, and opportunities. Many immigrant and underserved communities face challenges related to language, access to healthcare, employment, education, technology, civic engagement, and social connection. ADC works to bridge these gaps by providing practical support, community-based programs, and partnerships that help people thrive.
ADC focuses on key areas including public health education, preventive health awareness, workforce readiness, student and family support, community development, nonprofit collaboration, and cultural inclusion. Through workshops, outreach events, training programs, resource navigation, and community partnerships, we aim to help individuals gain the knowledge and confidence they need to improve their quality of life.
A major part of our work is supporting health equity. ADC promotes awareness around important health topics such as preventive care, cancer screening, chronic disease education, mental health awareness, nutrition, maternal and family health, and access to healthcare resources. We believe that health education must be culturally sensitive, linguistically accessible, and community-centered.
ADC also supports education and workforce development by helping community members access learning opportunities, job readiness resources, career guidance, digital literacy support, and professional development programs. We believe that economic mobility begins with knowledge, confidence, and access to the right opportunities.
In addition, ADC is committed to building a stronger sense of belonging among Asian, immigrant, and multicultural communities in Utah. We organize and support community events, cultural programs, leadership initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and collaborative projects that bring people together and strengthen community ties.
Your donation helps ADC expand programs, reach more families, provide educational resources, support health awareness initiatives, and build long-term community capacity. Every contribution directly supports our mission to create a healthier, more informed, and more connected community.
Together, we can build a future where every individual and family has access to the resources, knowledge, and support they need to succeed.
