Since 2012, it has brought together thousands of participants from across the globe, including over 4,000 in 2024, to share experiences, foster dialogue, and explore solutions to pressing human rights challenges linked to business activity. Anchored in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), the Forum provides a unique multi-stakeholder platform that includes States, international organizations, businesses, trade unions, Indigenous Peoples, human rights defenders, civil society, and more.
