Euki

A community-supported independent library & artist workshop of printed material, fiscally sponsored by Intersection for the Arts.

The Prelinger Library in San Francisco offers thousands of historical maps, zines, documents, books and other materials, all of which are available for artists to reference or reuse. Its collections serve activists, writers, musicians, composers, poets, novelists, journalists, and historians. The Library was established in 2004 and has served over ten thousand reserach visits. Its collections have supported the production of artists talks series, films, novels as well as open-ended explorations by people working across all media types. As a 100% community-supported project, the Library s free to pursue equity and justice, abolition and libration, and to serve the community as a trans- and queer-safe space and infoshop for survival and resistance. The Library puts hospitality first and offers sparkling water or tea to every visitor.

The collections also hold government-produced documents from eras when artists and writers were widely employed in their production, offering art and literature in unexpected places as well as roadmaps toward civil societies. With stacks materials ranging from eighteenth century documents to works produced this week, the room serves as a slip in spacetime within which a couple hundred years of human experience and experiments can be browsed. Library hosts represent a range of subject-matter expertises including public transportation, radio science, zine making, natural history, library science, book arts, moving image history and production, and nonfiction writing.

Hammerstone School empowers women and gender minorities through craft trades education. 

Since 2013 Hammerstone School has been fostering self-reliance through an introduction to building skills in a space absent of preconceptions about what we may or may not know or may or may not be capable of.  

[Our courses](https://hammerstoneschool.org/all-categories) are designed to counteract long-standing gender imbalances in the trades. By creating learning environments specifically for women and gender minorities, we offer students a place to explore their capabilities free from judgment or outdated assumptions. From our very first class, this intentional space has received overwhelmingly positive feedback for its impact and approach.

These allow anyone to engage with our curriculum in a format that meets their needs while staying true to our mission of empowerment and inclusion.

The Alliance for Diplomacy and Justice (a 501c3 organization) represents a vision for reimagining United States foreign policy that prioritizes human rights. Advancing human rights in U.S. foreign policy is good for the world and good for Americans.

In January 2025, eight former Ambassadors, Special Representatives, and Special Envoys with human rights portfolios at the State Department founded The Alliance for Diplomacy and Justice. Each co-founder and principal has long been a leader in their areas of expertise, including: racial justice, workers’ rights, atrocities prevention and response, support for trafficking victims, youth empowerment, women’s rights, Afghanistan, and LGBTQI+ rights. We use our insider expertise to decipher foreign policy developments in the U.S. for civil society, academia, governments, and multilateral institutions in the U.S. and around the world and inspire others to fill the void the U.S. left behind. 

The U.S. has never been perfect, but our national ideals are noble and our foreign policy has traditionally incorporated bipartisan commitments to human rights, democracy, and global justice. The Rivanna Area Queer Center provides a safe refuge for all LGBTQIA+ people 
in Charlottesville and the surrounding counties.

LGBTQIA+ people need spaces of our own where we can take refuge, build resilient communities, and organize for our collective liberation. RAQC provides a safe and loving home for the queer community in Charlottesville and the surrounding counties. Programming at RAQC addresses multiple areas of need: support groups, peer counseling, and on-site mental health professionals contribute to the emotional wellbeing of our community. Classes and workshops on topics as diverse as screen printing, foraging, and self defense address our physical and creative needs. Social events like mixers, parties, and performances ensure that our region’s vibrant queer culture continues to flourish. In addition to our own programming, RAQC also serves as a safe and accessible space where all local queer organizations and individuals can host their own events.

We are an LGBTQ+ nonprofit helping queer people and their close ones feel safer in Russia.

Coming Out LGBTQ+ Group has been helping LGBTQ+ people in Russia since 2008 by providing free psychological and legal support to LGBTQ+ people, engage in educational activities, produce information materials on LGBTQ+ issues and related topics, conduct research and engage in international advocacy, work with the wider society to recognize rights and freedoms for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity. Since 2022 Coming Out has been working primarily online from outside Russia, though the work is still aimed at LGBTQ+ communities and their environment within the country. Within 2023 Coming Out has been working on over 40 court cases, provided >800 legal consultations, >3400 free psychological consultations, 275 peer-to-peer consultations for trans\*persons, conducted 2 studies with over 10,000 respondents, published numerous materials with an average 400 000 views monthly.

Give Us The Floor provides 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and allies in distress with the peer-positive human connection that they are too often missing. Through a safe, inclusive mobile app, youth ages 13 to 17 and young adults ages 18 to 24 can access peer support in a youth-only community, breaking the isolation and shame cycles they are experiencing. Trained youth facilitate the confidential group discussion spaces, and participants help each other with prevalent mental health and social issues such as depression, isolation, anxiety, identity, discrimination, family and school challenges, bullying, relationships, domestic violence, and body image.

Within this supportive community:

- Youth in distress from all backgrounds and locations across the US have 24/7 access to peer support in a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential environment.
- Participants communicate anonymously as often as they wish via closed group chats and discussion channels (no one-on-one communication is possible)
- They share daily life struggles, insights and accomplishments, encourage each other, and provide non-judgmental feedback without fear of stigma, taboo or shame
- Groups are organized by age and primary discussion topic to keep the chats relevant and relatable
- Youth who need adult help are quickly identified and given resources to help them.

Research reveals that increased isolation is contributing to the rapid deterioration of mental health and wellbeing. It’s affecting youth way more than adults: Experiencing social isolation and loneliness [during adolescence/ childhood] increased the risk of depression up to 9 years later. \*

**After only 1 month with Give Us The Floor:**

- Nearly 50% of LGBTQ youth age 13-17 seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year and 18% of them did attempt suicide:\*\*
- LGBTQ youth of color reported higher rates than their white peers: 12% of white youth attempted suicide compared to 21% of Native / Indigenous youth, 20% of Middle ------- Eastern / Northern African youth, 19% of Black youth, 17% of multiracial youth, 16% of Latinx youth, and 12% of Asian / Pacific Islander youth\*\*
- LGBTQ youth who had access to spaces that affirmed their sexual orientation and gender identity reported lower rates of attempting suicide \*\*
- 60% of LGBTQ youth who wanted mental health support in the past year were not able to access care, including nearly 3 in 5 transgender youth and more than 3 in 5 cisgender youth\*\*

Our mission is to protect LGBTQ+ youth in Poland from the harms of homelessness and refugeehood. 

The Warsaw House Foundation's mission is to protect homeless and refugee  LGBTQ+ youth in Poland and provide them with the tools they need to live independently. Our inspiration was the  Ali Forney Center  (AFC)  n NYC, which is largest organization in the world offering support to homeless LGBTQ+ youth. We are honored that Carl Siciliano, the AFC's founder is on the board of the Warsaw House Foundation and works as an advisor. We place extra attention on HIV and STI education, support and prevention with the help of board member Dr. Joanna Kubica and the Smart Life Clinic in Warsaw.  After we took in our first LGBTQ+ youth to house on February 14th, 2023  we have been flooded with calls for housing and support from young people in need.  These are Polish Trans 18 year-olds from the Polish countryside in desperate need to escape their abusive and intolerant homes, young queer people with PTSD and untreated mental illness who need housing and support immediately, LGBTQ+ refugees from Ukraine and several young gay men from Iraq who suffered torture in their homeland, were detained and imprisoned at the Polish/Belarussian border for up to two years, and are now trying to build their lives in Poland.  We are also housing and supporting young LGBTQ+ people from Uganda and Egypt,  We are raising money to support the young people under our care, to house and feed them and pay for their medical needs and courses needed for them to start an independent life,  We are also raising money to hire staff (all of WH's work is now done by volunteers), to continue the renovation of our residential building and for short term emergency rentals.  We have a committed and professional team and a well planned strategy for both emergency and long term care.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!! The group will leverage every tool, connection, and opportunity to provide birth mothers with the support they need to thrive. Our organization supports these extraordinary women with essential resources, including living expenses, transportation, counseling, and education (including GED preparation, community college, and trade school), enabling them to secure a more hopeful future.

Abortion Freedom Fund supports accessible, affordable, evidence-based abortion pills by mail for all. Our mission is to help pregnant people take control of their healthcare and futures by dismantling medicalized control of abortion and encouraging a world where abortion pills are over the counter.

We simplify access to care for patients by funding virtual abortion providers and clinics, individuals accessing telehealth abortions, and reimbursing local funds for telehealth abortion care, allowing them to focus their resources on people seeking procedural abortions in their communities.

In addition to direct funding, we partner with organizations doing research and other activism to increase access to abortions.

-Assisting people who are pregnant to take control of their health care and futures
-Dismantling medicalized control of abortion and encouraging a world where abortion pills are over the counter

Headquartered in New York City, Aspies For Social Success, AFSS is a peer-run organization that provides support and social groups, as well as cultural events, to adults 18 and over who have either been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome or an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), believe they might be on the Autism Spectrum, or who for other reason have difficulty with social communication, sensory processing, or executive functioning. AFSS is working to build a more inclusive community for individuals who otherwise may not have many opportunities or be able to find others with whom to socialize. We do not charge our members any fees, and our income comes exclusively from fundraising.

**The Problem**

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), approximately 1 in 68 individuals in the U.S. is somewhere on the autism spectrum. Because adulthood constitutes most of the human lifespan, the majority of these individuals are adults. In New York City, where AFSS is based, this corresponds to a population of nearly 100,000, with closer to 200,000 in the Greater New York area, most of which have not yet been identified. A common misconception is that individuals with autism prefer to be isolated and are not interested in either friendships or romantic relationships; in fact, for most adults, nothing could be farther from the truth. Consequently, there is a need for venues where adults on the spectrum can meet others who live with the same challenges, discuss and share the difficulties that they face in various aspects of their lives in a supportive environment, and be able to simply socialize with people who perceive and interact with the world in a manner similar to their own. Also, even though unemployment statistics for autistic adults are greatly overestimated (roughly half of AFSS group members are employed at some level), they are still higher than for any other disability. As such, many will not be able to afford the kinds of group and cultural activities that AFSS is working to provide. These costs can only be met through outside contributions and donations.
 
**Our Approach**

AFSS support groups, currently held in rented venues, allow members to discuss issues of concern to them in a group setting among other adults living with similar challenges. Each meeting starts with a specific theme chosen by the group. Past themes have included community, relationships, dating, isolation, and employment-related difficulties. For example, we have had discussions on what it means to be part of a community and on what an ideal community would be like. We then allow the conversation to evolve during the session, allowing members to relate their own personal stories to the group.
  
AFSS social groups encourage members to go out in public with others like them and to feel more a part of and accepted in a community, and meet at different restaurants and locations throughout the New York City area. This also provides an opportunity for the greater community to see that we are no different from anyone else and fully capable of participating in society in spite of our minor differences. These groups provide a sense of community for individuals who otherwise may not have many suitable opportunities to socialize, as well as somewhere to go, on a regular basis, with a relaxed, comfortable, judgment-free atmosphere where people can be themselves amongst others sharing similar difficulties and interests. 
  
AFSS cultural events provide opportunities for our groups to attend a variety of artistic, scientific, and cultural events. These take place in museums, galleries, exhibitions, theaters, and other venues throughout the NYC area.

Since our founding in 2014, we’ve expanded our original focus on usable design practice for secure technologies to include programmatic interventions and research on socio-technical issues like surveillance capitalism, disinformation, and digital consent. Today we work to overcome the alarming lack of available resources in the public interest technology space by openly sharing our knowledge and partnering with organizations to identify unmet needs, design for access, and extend the impact of newly built tools and interventions.

D×P works in Japan to solve the isolation of teenagers who have difficulties.

In Japan, suicide is the number one cause of death among young people and has become a social problem. Japan is the only country among the G7 industrialized nations where suicide is the leading cause of death. The percentage of Japanese young people who are satisfied with themselves or feel that they have advantages is lower than that of young people in other countries. Young people with various difficulties in life, such as poverty, disabilities, and no place at home, have difficulty finding people who understand their situation.
Furthermore, when they reach a crossroads in their lives, such as "career path" or "dropping out of school," the difficulties that are usually hidden from them tend to come to the fore, but it is easy for them to keep them to themselves. It is also easy to conclude that they cannot survive because they do not know about the various jobs and public supports that exist in the world. There are counseling services for bullying and suicide as places to turn to when they are having difficulties, but there are few counseling services for career and employment.The number of registrations and consultations continues to grow, and we currently have 5,900 registered users.
The teenagers D×P supports have difficulties due to a combination of various backgrounds, such as poverty, having disabilities, growing up in a single-parent household, and being bullied.
In Covid 19, there's been an increase in the number of consultations about living in poverty, such as reduced shifts at part-time jobs, parents losing their jobs and not being able to pay school fees, and not having enough to eat. Many of the teenagers work in restaurants or in non-regular employment, so the impact of Covid 19 has been very significant. Therefore, D×P have started to provide emergency support in the form of food aid and cash transfers.
Without a secure foundation, they cannot take the next step such as trying something or thinking about work. After receiving a consultation, the first step is to provide immediate reassurance and ongoing support while building a relationship of trust. D×P is funded by donations from donors. Support economic empowerment for queer entrepreneurs: the power of the Pink economy!

The Queer & Allied Chamber of Commerce Africa (QACC Africa) was established to create an ecosystem that facilitates and promotes commercial relationships and widen supply-chains between queer owned and/or operated businesses, entrepreneurs and their allies, in nations throughout Africa. Although QACC Africa was formally registered in 2022, the underlying concept has been in existence since early 2021 when the three co-founders met and organised their first safe queer community event in Nairobi, Kenya. Our advocacy focuses on the principal of economic inclusion. To achieve its objectives, QACC Africa works closely with businesses, professional associations, multilateral business groups, and international, national, regional and community queer organisations. QACC Africa is the gateway for queer owned businesses and entrepreneurs throughout the continent to increase sales and strengthen business opportunities. Creating a strong network of queer and allied businesses and entrepreneurs, allows members to take their business further, finding opportunities with other queer entrepreneurs, businesses and potential investors. In time, QACC Africa will grow to be an incubator for queer start-ups and entrepreneurs to access both grants and investment. QACC Africa will establish a process and platform to certify queer owned and/or operated businesses, and those business allied to the community, that are truly inclusive. This will promote supply chain collaboration and procurement opportunities. Furthermore, QACC Africa will bring community members and allies together, and highlight the right resources for queer business owners, operators and entrepreneurs to be even more successful by providing professional capacity development through training, mentorship and the nurturing of talent. VISION: To facilitate a diverse and inclusive economy in Africa by establishing a dynamic and thriving commercial ecosystem for queer-owned and allied- operated businesses. MISSION: To promote and support the growth of queer-owned and/or operated businesses across Africa through training and capacity building, partnership formation, and networking in order to raise awareness about the impact of the queer economy and facilitate investment opportunities. OBJECTIVES: 1. To build and nurture queer and allied business trade, collaboration, procurement partnerships and supply chain corridors. 2. To strengthen queer owned and/or operated businesses and formalize queer entrepreneur's businesses. 3. To be an incubator for queer start- ups and entrepreneurs and be the hub for investors in queer and allied businesses. 4. To provide certification for queer owned and/or operated businesses, and allied corporates that actively support the queer community. 5. To advocate for economic inclusion and equality of access for the queer community. PROBLEM STATEMENT:  It is hard to truly know the statistics of the queer community in countries throughout Africa, however we all understand that just because people (and their businesses) may not be overtly "out and proud", the LGBTQ+ population in various African countries, as a percentage of population, can be considered and compared to other nations where statistics are available. If we consider Canada, which has a population of 38 million, smaller than most African nations, Canada is home to over 100,000 LGBTQ+ owned businesses. These businesses generate over US$16 billion in economic activity and employ over 435,000 Canadians. Therefore it is safe to assume that untapped LGBTQ+ business in Africa is big business and can be a driving force for economic activism and driving change on the continent: the power of the Pink Coin (Shilling, Franc, Dollar, Rand, etc). Throughout Africa, LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs face barriers, including having to hide who they were in business dealings to avoid losing opportunities, and the potential for exploitation by competitors, clients, employees, and government bodies. There is a growing number of individuals, organisations and companies looking to build business together – one connection at a time. A community of LGBTQ+ businesses, and even diverse procurement practices, will help tip the scales. QACC Africa incorporates all of these positive forces, quietly advocating amongst community and allied members, to make a more inclusive African economy, whilst recognising the challenges of each country on the continent.

Over 150,000 listeners throughout Puget Sound tune to c89.5 every week for a diverse range of music celebrating individual differences and focusing on the joy in life. Neuromatch is democratizing science by creating opportunities in education, networking, and scientific communication. 

Neuromatch enables more people to participate in scientific research by overcoming barriers in the form of education, social networks, and accessibility of science communication. 

Specifically, we find innovative new ways to allow collaborative access in these areas by enabling groups of scientists to work together to make these platforms as public goods that can scale up to be used by many. 

Our Academy provides live instruction, open source education that is contributed to by hundreds of researchers to provide always affordable education to people around the world. We are active in 15 different countries and teach undergraduate and PhD level science in 20 different languages. 

Our Community program creates online-first scientific conferences and community events that focus on human interaction, allowing us to leverage the equitable nature of online work without significant sacrifices in the networking and connection aspect of these events. 

The NMDA program provides researchers with real on the job experience in internships, job matching, and career guidance. 

Our large buy in to these communities we serve provides us the ability to conquer problems in science dependent on large network effects, such as issues in academic publishing, job matching, and large research collaborations.

Neuromatch

We provide in-depth, highly relational mindfulness education for youth and the parents and professionals who support them.

Young people deserve our best attention and the greatest support we can offer, especially when it comes to teaching them the tools and resources they need to nurture their minds, spirit, and bodies.

We stand on the foundation of a 35-year lineage of teen mindfulness which began with retreats offered in Barre, Massachusetts in 1989. Since our humble beginnings, we have grown to be the national leader in immersive mindfulness education with our beloved teen retreats having been offered to 4,000+ alumni.

With a belief that justice and equity are at the center of youth wellbeing, our offerings also include specific programs for affinity groups such as BIPOC and LGBTQIA+. Programs aimed at more systemic impact include our internationally accredited Teacher Training program and custom programming in partnership with schools and youth-serving organizations across the country. Our programs seek to complement and amplify the impacts of in-school programs and to expand the value and capacity that youth-serving professionals have for sharing in-depth mindfulness experiences with youth.

At their core, the diverse community of Inward Bound teens and adult leaders seek to create healthier inner and outer worlds. They come from the edges of toxic dominant cultures with the belief that another way of living is not only possible, but a fundamental right. Our extensive network of 120+ staff, teachers, health coordinators, and mentors are experts in the fields of youth development, mental health, and education, and have lived experiences that deeply reflect the teens they serve. They exemplify authenticity, compassion, and respect, upholding a strong code of ethics. In fact, some of our leaders today were participants in the first teen retreats offered in 1989.

Perhaps our most distinctive capacity for success is our Collaborative Leadership (CL) System which emphasizes shared decision-making and robust feedback, and creates more pathways for community members, especially youth, parents, and partners, to have increased input and investment. This organizational structure, which has no Executive Director, is the result of our equity commitments and examinations of how power is distributed within our organization. It was researched and developed for three years with the consult of international leaders in the field before being fully launched in January 2020. At the core of the CL System are the full-time staff and five standing committees that include a 9-member Youth Advisory Committee and 6-member Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Committee. Need-based stipends are available to support committee member participation.

Concerning data reveals that 23% of Asian New Yorkers live in poverty, significantly higher than the citywide average of 16% of all New Yorkers. And a staggering 28% of Asian American older adults 65+ live in poverty. As the American Bar Association reveals, Asian elders, especially those from immigrant backgrounds, endure more social isolation and mental health struggles than their peers due to linguistics, financial, and cultural barriers. These factors combined significantly impact the mental and emotional well-being of Asian American older adults in a city where depression and suicide among older adult immigrants are on the rise.

**Heart of Dinner addresses these critical community needs by home-delivering to Elders with Heart of Dinner's signature nourishing care packages of culturally thoughtful and nutrient-dense food, bundled inside lovingly hand-illustrated bags, attached with uplifting handwritten notes in the Elder's native language.**

**A Note from Our Founders about Heart of Dinner & Our Evolution from 2020-2024:**

Dear Cherished Supporter,

Thank you for taking a moment to connect with our mission. We are so grateful for the opportunity to share our journey with you—a journey born from a deep, instinctive need to care for our Elders. **In March 2020, at the onset of the global pandemic, we leapt into action to support our Asian American elder community, who were facing devastating food insecurity, isolation, and loneliness.**

While many believe the urgency that defined the pandemic has passed, **the reality for our Elders remains critical. Even now, 1 in 3 Asian American older adults live below the poverty line.** These challenges are not new. For decades, this community has been overlooked, its struggles masked by the harmful “model minority” myth, which conceals the deep inequities faced by Asian American Elders. This, combined with language barriers, technology gaps, and economic hardship, means that many continue to lack access to the resources and care they deserve.

Out of a guttural instinct to protect and uplift our Elders, we **transformed our 300 square-foot apartment on the cusp of Chinatown and the Lower East Side into a sanctuary of cultural resonance and care.** We hyperfocused on those in the most critical state, providing emergency food relief and addressing their emotional needs through handwritten notes in their native languages, making sure our Elders felt seen, valued, and dignified.

**These care packages are more than just food—they are a lifeline.** Filled with culturally meaningful lunchboxes and fresh groceries beloved in Asian immigrant households like bok choy, rice, mung beans (and more!), all lovingly bundled inside decorated bags, attached with notes of love & joy that deliver warmth, connection, and belonging.

As our work evolved beyond emergency relief, we **built Heart of Dinner into a nonprofit focused on sustainable care.** Thanks to our incredible community of donors, partners, volunteers, and small team of staff, we have transformed into a **501(c)(3) public charity that continues to nourish and uplift our Elders, week after week.**

By Summer 2024, **we have delivered over 200,000 meals to beloved Elders living in significantly under-resourced and underinvested communities across New York City.** And our work is far from over. The challenges our Elders face didn’t begin with the pandemic, and they certainly won’t end with it. **These hardships are rooted in long-standing societal and governmental neglect, where policies and systems have historically overlooked the needs of this community.**

**Looking forward, we have plans to build Heart of Dinner's own delivery infrastructure with a fleet of electric vehicles, hire a dedicated team of drivers trained in our protocols—which emphasize cultural respect and thoughtful care when serving our Elders—and we aim to increase our care package distribution by 25%.** **These efforts will build upon our ongoing commitment to delivering care packages to our Elders and existing beneficiaries with the same high level of deep care and compassion.**

**Behind the scenes, we are strengthening systems to support Heart of Dinner’s sustainable growth,** so that we can continue to serve with deep care for years to come. **With these steps, we aim to cover all five boroughs of NYC—and even dream of extending our love and care to California.**

DCMA is a healing justice hub that is working to create a more just health care system in DC through community centered care. 

DC Mutual Aid Apothecary (DCMA) is a Black, femme, and queer-led mutual aid network stewarded by and centered in the needs of Black and otherwise marginalized communities in the District’s Wards 7 & 8. Since our founding in 2020, we have grown from a rapid COVID-19 response project into a healing justice hub of herbalists, community health practitioners, farmers, and organizers collaborating to provide accessible herbal products, education, and resources to an intergenerational community. Rooted in practices of solidarity and community care, DCMA is building an alternative vision for a more equitable District health care system. Our programming and partnerships create spaces for our community to access herbal medicine and education, reconnect to ancestral plant knowledge, steward land, and build networks and relationships towards radical systems change.

About Alma Institute: 

Our mission is to strengthen and diversify the network of legal psychedelic service providers by offering prioritized enrollment and certification opportunities to people from marginalized communities. We seek to increase benefits and prevent harms by creating pathways to apprenticeship, employment, and ongoing peer support for facilitators in this growing field.

Launching in Oregon in 2023, our social justice-rooted training program practicum to prepare students for licensure under the nation’s first legal psilocybin services program. We seek to raise industry standards so people from all backgrounds can find belonging and thrive in psychedelic work. This requires anchoring in trauma-informed care, cultural humility, feedback, accountability, and meaningful practices of sacred reciprocity. 

We exist so psychedelic healing work can not only be available to our communities, but relevant to our ancestral and lived experiences and impactful for generations to come.

Our Approach:

We hold a strong focus on continued support and skill building for new graduates, and are weaving a culture of engagement, mentorship and accountability into our programming. We will support this by hosting in person and digital integration circles for new and experienced facilitators, supporting networks of student pods to continue learning together, and leading industry-wide conversations about ethical standards and care. 

Oregon ranks among the worst for mental health conditions and is dismal in access to therapy and psychiatric services. The numbers are even worse for people from marginalized social locations. These community members experience higher rates of the very mental health conditions that psilocybin can help address. However, psilocybin is not a cure-all. Wellbeing is systemic and depends on the harmony of a variety of factors. The success of psilocybin services will depend largely on the trust and rapport established between client and facilitator, the client's sense of safety and belonging, the environment in which services occur, and importantly, the follow-up care and support provided.

As in talk therapy, it is critical that patients have the option of working with someone who has shared identifiers and can relate to their lived experience. This is especially important when working with racial and gender-based trauma and deep healing processes. 

Additionally, the lasting benefits of psilocybin will rely on external factors, such as access to healthcare, safe and consistent housing, healthy food, community support, and gainful employment. It is essential that individuals working in this new industry understand and are engaged with the intersectional approach to wellbeing and community health; if they don't, the industry will be peddling a short-term band-aid solution, with service sites overwhelmed by high-paying experience seekers and fail to deliver on the promises of lasting change and healing promoted by the Psilocybin Services Act. 

Alma Institute seeks to bring a deeper inquiry to psychedelic therapies and help raise standards for the field at large. If we are successful, we can shift the conversation from one laser focused on mental health, to one about the historical roots of our suffering and the systemic shifts needed for collective healing.

Trestle Collaborative is the place for front line organizations to secure free-tech services. Since our start in 2021, we’ve worked on some of the most critical high impact issues by providing over $1.6 million in free tech services through our community of over 130+ mission-driven technologists who provide hands-on guidance to front-line organizations.

OUR TENETS.
No more police raids and deportations. Policing is not social work. Arrest and sentencing, even with diversion programming, is not a humane way to deliver social services. Labor rights in our workplaces, regardless of immigration status.

Your donation goes towards our mutual aid fund to support workers in need; legal consultation; OB/GYN & mental health services translations; bail$; community care & policy advocacy.

The most effective way to fight exploitation and abuse is to give workers the rights and resources to create respectful and safe conditions for them to survive.

Holy Covenant Church MCC is a LGBTQ+ nonprofit religious organization located in Brookfield, IL. Nonprofit status granted in 1973.

Holy Covenant MCC is an open and affirming Christian community of faith that has been serving the Chicagoland area since March 30, 1975. We celebrate our call to embody the spirit of hospitality. It is in this spirit that we welcome people of all genders, races, sexual orientations, gender identities, ages and socio-economic means to participate in the full life and ministry of our church.

We explore our faith in a safe, non-judgmental environment. We celebrate the contributions of Christianity and other faith traditions to our understanding and experience of the Divine, Just, and Creative Presence many call “God.”

The Worship Team nurtures the corporate worship life of our congregation as inspiring, celebratory, and centered on the faithful proclamation of Scripture and communion celebration. We celebrate an open communion, which means you do not have to be a member of Holy Covenant or any other church to participate. Everyone is welcome to the table with whatever beliefs or doubts they may have.

we.are.village in Berlin is creating new ways that queer communities can connect, transform and heal. For the last eight years, we have operated a unique space for queer masculinities and femininities, transgender, non-binary, genderfluid, intersex and other gender non-conforming people.


Our goal is to help queer people create and embrace healthier, better connected and purposeful lives. We do this by nourishing individual and collective growth through working with the body, mindfulness, artistic expression, consent and a range of self-empowering tools and strategies. In the process, we tackle loneliness, lack of self-esteem, intimacy and addiction issues, dealing with discrimination and other intersectional challenges that limit and impact queer lives.


We have created a diverse and continuously adapting program of weekly and monthly events, community evenings, weekend trips as well as art exhibitions, performances, salon discussions and offerings via our online platform.


Although it was never our focus, we  have become a model for other cities and countries. We regularly host visitors and participants from all over the world and have seen an increase in international interest from individuals, other organizations, activists, artists, politicians or other practitioners wanting to find out more about our innovative model and methodologies.
