UN Free & Equal is an unprecedented global campaign for equal rights and fair treatment for LGBTIQ+ people, led by the UN Human Rights Office. We challenge negative stereotypes, support activists worldwide, and ultimately win over new allies and inspire them to stand up for LGBTIQ+ equality.

• Work with partners in countries around the world to support changes to discriminatory laws and advance legal protections for LGBTIQ+ people.
• Advocate for the human rights of LGBTIQ+ people, dispel negative stereotypes and convince people on the fence to become active allies of the LGBTIQ+ community.
• Support local LGBTIQ+ communities and their efforts to create a fairer, more equal society for everyone.
• Work with the private sector to promote a culture of respect and equality both in the workplace and in the communities where they and their partners operate.
