Salute Veterans

Every veteran deserves to find the help they've earned — now, not twenty years from now.

The resources are out there. The benefits are real. Organizations doing incredible work exist in every state, in every category of need. The problem has never been a shortage of resources — just veterans who can't find them when they need them most.

We built VeteransDirectory.org to help close that gap.

Who We Are

Salute Veterans Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by a Marine veteran who watched too many fellow service members spend years — sometimes decades — struggling to find the benefits, jobs, transition assistance, mentoring, housing, and support they earned through their service. We are not a large organization. We are a focused one. We believe the most powerful thing a nonprofit can do is remove the barriers between veterans and the help they've already earned.

Our Flagship Program: VeteransDirectory.org

VeteransDirectory.org is one of the most comprehensive free veteran resource directories in the country. Thousands of vetted listings spanning every major category of need — housing assistance, legal aid, employment resources, transition assistance, vocational training, education, financial assistance, mental health support, peer support, scholarships and more — so any transitioning veteran can find what they need in hours, not years.

We built it around one core idea: link to the program, not the organization. Every listing points directly to a specific program with a clear description. No dead ends. No switchboards. No outdated information leading nowhere.

It is free. It will always be free. No organization has paid to be included. Every listing earned its spot by being genuinely useful to veterans.

How We're Funded

We run lean. Our primary funding comes from vehicle donations — cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, and more donated nationwide through our network of vehicle donation sites. Donated vehicles are picked up free of charge, sold at auction, and net proceeds fund VeteransDirectory.org and our other veteran programs.

Every dollar we receive goes toward keeping these resources free, current, and growing. Listings have to be added, updated, and maintained as programs change. That work never stops — and neither do we.

What Your Donation Does

Your gift — whether crypto, cash, or a vehicle sitting in your driveway — directly funds the operation of VeteransDirectory.org and our transition assistance programs. It keeps a comprehensive, up-to-date directory of veteran resources accessible to every veteran who needs them.

No veteran should have to wait twenty years to find the help they earned on day one of their service.

Find the Help You've Earned. Now — Not Twenty Years From Now.
