Health Come True Foundation

Founded by medical students, doctors, dentists, and healthcare professionals from Yale School of Medicine, the Health Come True Foundation (formerly known as the Yale International Clinic) is committed to ensuring all children, regardless of economic status, have access to healthcare. Established as a student initiative, HCTF has been addressing healthcare needs in underserved communities of the Dominican Republic since 2019 through their annual free pediatric health and dental clinics.

HCTF clinics span across four days in the Dominican Republic each November, beginning with a volunteer training seminar, followed by two days of the health and dental clinic, and concluding with a reflection and debriefing session.

We believe every child has the right to free medical, dental, and mental healthcare, as well as access to essential medications. By also offering education on disease prevention, we empower these children to become advocates of change in their communities.

The next HCTF Health Clinic is scheduled for November 13-16, 2026, in Salamanca in the Dominican Republic.
