Our Mission:

to provide strategic support, capacity building, and capital to social entrepreneurs as changemakers in Indonesia, and Bali in particular, thus enabling and empowering them to grow their initiatives. We aim to build a thriving, decentralized impactful social enterprises ecosystem with collaborative network to bring sustainable solutions towards social and environmental issues.

The Need:

As a vast archipelagic state, we see unequal development on many levels, particularly outside prioritized areas, moreover in rural society whereby access of information, network, and capital is a challenge for local changemakers. Socio-economic and environmental issues arise affecting down to grassroot communities.

The Solution:

MAKADAYA believes sustainable solutions can be achieved effectively by growing local changemakers as catalysts in their respective community, through meaningful work and impactful social enterprise. Makadaya provides platform where these changemakers as social enterprise founders can explore, collaborate, and get necessary strategic support to achieve their desired impact goal.

Our IMPACT to this present:

Since 2021, we have been enabling 20 pre-early stage social entrepreneurs, from 11 provinces in Indonesia, to grow their social business sustainably. Our fellows have been doing real works for pro-climate actions, to improvement of livelihood in their local communities.

More than 1000+ intensive hours for capacity building towards these changemakers, and over $US 50K micro grants distributed as effective working capital to support their social business and impact missions.
