Sexual Assault Counseling, Advocacy and specialized medical forensic examinations
Avalon inspires healing and empowerment for those affected by sexual violence through free and immediate comprehensive services; promotes public awareness; and advances social change.
We are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our services are free of charge. Services are available to ALL ages and gender identities. Medical-forensic exams are provided up to 120 hours post assault. Counseling and advocacy services are available to anyone who identifies as a survivor of sexual assault, sexual abuse or incest ~ no matter when it occurred. Our services are available to anyone, despite where they live or where they were assaulted.

Avalon Healing Center is launching the "UnMuted" campaign starting April 2025 in correlation to Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The UnMuted campaign is designed to amplify the voices of survivors and to build awareness around the needs of those impacted by sexual violence and human trafficking. Avalon Healing Center will be the vocal advocates for this community and share with others ways to support survivors and those who care about this mission. UnMuted means that survivors get to tell their stories, their way! Unmuted means that we turn up, show up and speak up for others!
