Women’s Cancer Resource Center (WCRC) provides free services that help women and gender-expansive individuals with cancer and their loved ones navigate the challenges of diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.

Based in Berkeley and serving Alameda and Contra Costa counties, WCRC focuses on removing barriers that can delay care or create instability during treatment. Programs include patient navigation, free individual therapy, culturally tailored support groups, wellness classes, and emergency financial assistance for basic needs such as housing, transportation, food, and treatment-related expenses.

For nearly 40 years, WCRC has supported thousands of women and families across the East Bay, with a focus on those facing financial hardship, language barriers, or gaps in the healthcare system.

Donations help ensure that no one has to face cancer alone or without support.

Your support helps provide:

  • Patient navigation to help clients access treatment and coverage
  • Free therapy and support groups
  • Emergency financial assistance during treatment
  • Wellness programs that support physical and emotional health
  • Community outreach to connect people to care earlier
