The Village Youth Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing child marriage in Northern Kenya. As the charitable arm of PlantVillage+, we provide scholarships to make education accessible for girls and ensure they receive the necessary support to make the most of their schooling. We recognize that not all education leads to meaningful learning, so we are committed to creating an environment where girls not only attend school but also actively engage and excel in their studies. Our innovative approach leverages profits from agricultural ventures to create a nurturing and supportive school environment, enabling girls to thrive. Through education and sustainable development, we strive to build a brighter future for vulnerable girls in Kenya.
