At The VanRoss Foundation (TVF), we believe that education is not only a pathway to personal success but also a powerful engine for community transformation. Every college graduate represents more than an individual achievement—they embody resilience, opportunity, and the promise of a stronger society. When students succeed, communities thrive. And when donors like you invest in their journey, you help create ripples of impact that extend far beyond the classroom.

Behind every statistic is a student whose life has been changed by your support. Consider the first-generation student who, with the help of TVF’s scholarship, became the first in her family to graduate college. Today, she works in public health, advocating for underserved communities and mentoring younger students to pursue higher education. Her success is not just her own—it is shared by her family, her neighborhood, and the countless lives she touches.

Or the student who faced food insecurity but found stability through VanRoss Vitals. With access to nutritious meals and wellness resources, he was able to focus on his studies, graduate, and now works as a teacher inspiring the next generation. These stories are proof that your donations create lasting change.

The VanRoss Foundation was inspired by Barbara VanRoss Baskin's commitment to education. She was the mother of TVF's Founder and CEO, Viola Richardson. She worked to support her six daughters and inspired them to pursue higher education. Not only did she encourage her daughters academically, she also worked as a Christian mentor, volunteer educator and coordinator with many young people. This foundation honors her legacy.

Your support of TVF is not just a gift to one student—it is an investment in the future of entire communities. College graduates contribute to local economies, strengthen civic life, and inspire others to pursue lifelong learning. They become role models for younger generations, mentors for peers, and leaders in workplaces and neighborhoods. By helping students cross the finish line, you are fueling a cycle of growth, empowerment, and hope.

At The VanRoss Foundation, we see every student as a seed of potential. With the right support, they grow into graduates who enrich communities, inspire lifelong learning, and lead with resilience. By giving to TVF, you are planting seeds of change that will bear fruit for generations.

College graduates are always a benefit to the communities in which they live and work. They inspire others to create a lifelong learning habit, and they prove that education is the most powerful tool we have to build a better world. Supporting first-generation students ensures that this cycle of inspiration continues, breaking barriers and opening doors for those who need it most.

We invite you to join us in this mission. Together, we can expand opportunity, nurture resilience, and create communities where every student has the chance to thrive. Your donation is not just a gift—it is a legacy of hope.
