The Educational Equality Institute (TEEI) connects people with the learning, skills and support to pursue education, develop their careers and build greater independence. Our programmes bring learners together with volunteer teachers, mentors and professionals. Every programme is free for the people taking part.
Founded to expand opportunities for girls and women, TEEI also supports communities affected by war and displacement. Since 2022, our Together for Ukraine initiative has reached 20,000+ Ukrainians across 50+ countries through education and support programmes.
Practical support for what comes next.
Through TEEI Language, people practise a language with volunteer conversation partners. TEEI Mentorship connects participants with professionals for career guidance. Skills Academy brings together practical learning, professional courses and skills-sharing sessions. The Women Buddy Programme creates space for women to build supportive peer relationships.
People choose the support that fits their goals, whether they are preparing for further study, developing a professional skill, navigating a new job market or finding a community.
We bring the people, programmes and technology together.
TEEI builds and operates its own language and mentorship platforms, helping participants and volunteers connect across borders. We manage the matching, programme support and coordination that turn a willingness to help into opportunities to learn.
Alongside Education, our work spans Health Equity, Research, Advocacy & Policy, and Compliance. One Connection, our cancer peer-support programme, is preparing for its first pilot. CSR Cockpit helps corporate partners coordinate volunteering and report their contribution to TEEI’s programmes.

One Connection: No One Survives Cancer Alone
When treatment ends, support disappears. The oncologist visits thin out. The friends who promised to call stop calling. 52% of cancer patients report greater isolation after diagnosis. Among the most isolated survivors, mortality risk increases by 67%. One Connection matches cancer survivors with trained peer supporters. Matched by cancer type, treatment history, and language. Weekly video sessions. Structured journey pathways from diagnosis through survivorship. For bone marrow transplant survivors, 70% have no formal peer support. The entire peer support literature for this population consists of eight studies with 574 patients. No existing platform combines matched peer support, real-time translation, and structured journeys for cancer survivors. One Connection fills that gap.
