We’ve come a long way since we opened our doors as the Los Angeles Free Clinic in the Summer of Love, 1967. From a single storefront on Fairfax Avenue, we are now the Saban Community Clinic, with four health centers and one satellite site providing comprehensive medical, behavioral health and dental care plus access to social services.
While a lot has changed over the past 50 years, our founding belief remains the same: that healthcare is a right, not a privilege. The integrated and holistic approach to treating the entire individual, which we pioneered five decades ago, is practiced today as Whole Person Care.

Creators in Action
We are excited for the inaugural Creators in Action, an evening in support of Saban Community Clinic honoring Rhett & Link, Mythical Entertainment and Adam Kaller, Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, Richman, Rush, Kaller, Gellman, Meigs & Fox, LLP. Events like Creators in Action play a critical role in raising funds to further Saban Community Clinic’s mission of providing outstanding, compassionate care to anyone who needs it. The Clinic operates five sites (and the Mobile Clinic) in LA providing medical, dental and behavioral health care through more than 130,000 patient visits annually. 89% of the Clinic’s patients live below the poverty line, making $26,500 for a family of four. We are grateful for supporters like you who make caring for our community possible.
