ReFED is a U.S.-based nonprofit leading the movement to end food loss and waste. We serve as the central hub on the issue and work directly with partners across the food system – food businesses, investors, philanthropic grantmakers, policymakers, innovators, media, academia, and others – providing them specific data and insights, decision support tools, advisory services, and measurement support. Flagship initiatives include leading the U.S. Food Waste Pact, the nation’s largest pre-competitive collaboration of major food businesses committed to reducing food waste; managing the Catalytic Grant Fund, which regrants philanthropic capital to scale high-impact innovations; publishing the ReFED Insights Engine, a suite of interactive data tools; and hosting the Food Waste Solutions Summit, the leading convening of the food waste movement.
