ProAction, Inc.

ProAction is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health, safety, and well-being of communities across the Borderplex region through three impactful programs. Together, these initiatives expand access to healthcare, create economic opportunities, train the next generation of emergency medical professionals, and provide lifesaving emergency response services throughout West Texas and Southern New Mexico.

Through Immunize El Paso, we provide low- to no-cost vaccinations, drug testing, and lab services to children and adults in underserved communities. Through our clinics, mobile units, school partnerships, and outreach efforts, we remove barriers to care and connect families with essential health services. In 2025 alone, we administered more than 39,000 vaccines to help protect our region from preventable disease.

ProAction’s Emergency Services Institute (ESI) is helping address the nationwide EMS workforce shortage by preparing future emergency medical professionals through hands-on instruction and clinical experience. We also train more than 2,300 community members each year in CPR, bleeding control, ACLS, and other lifesaving skills that strengthen public safety and emergency preparedness across our region.

As one of the region’s most experienced event medical response teams, ProAction provides emergency medical coverage for more than 1,300 community events annually throughout El Paso and Las Cruces. Our teams deliver rapid on-site care, improve response times, and help reduce the strain on local EMS systems.
