NCM Fresh Rescue Food Bank plays a vital role in strengthening the community by rescuing fresh, nutritious food that might otherwise go to waste and distributing it to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Through partnerships with local farms, grocery stores, businesses, and community organizations, the food bank helps ensure that wholesome fruits, vegetables, dairy products, proteins, and other essential foods reach those who need them most.

For many families, seniors on fixed incomes, veterans, and individuals facing unexpected financial hardships, access to healthy food can make a meaningful difference. NCM Fresh Rescue Food Bank provides more than just meals—it offers dignity, hope, and stability during difficult times. By reducing food waste while increasing access to nutritious food, the organization supports healthier families and builds a stronger, more resilient community.

Beyond food, we offer our “Blessing Boutique,” a welcoming space where individuals can shop with dignity and choose from a wide variety of donated clothing, housewares, home décor, and bedding. We host four community outreach events every year including Easter Basket Giveaway, Back-to-School, Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway and Christmas Toy Giveaway. We distribute food and are open five days a week (closed Wednesdays and Sunday) and have no zip code or income restrictions. Everyone is welcome.

NCM Fresh Rescue Food Bank does not receive state or federal funding so every donation has a direct and lasting impact. Financial contributions help the food bank rescue, transport, store, and distribute fresh food efficiently, allowing it to serve more people while minimizing waste. Donations also help expand outreach programs, strengthen partnerships, and ensure that fresh food remains available to those facing hunger.
