Patrons of the World’s Children Hospital is a US-based not-for-profit corporation that coordinates The Pope’s Global Alliance for the Health and Humanitarian Care of Children, by raising awareness and funding. It oversees the Hub and Spoke model, with centers of excellence that provide scientific support to the Spokes, clinics and hospitals around the world where demand for healthcare is unmet.

Inspired by Pope Francis' enduring commitment to children's well-being, a mission the Patrons have long embraced, we look forward with hope. Alongside our new Holy Father, Pope Leone XIV, we are dedicated to continuing this "miracle" of care and compassion for children in need.

The Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, Michigan have their Motherhouse in Alma, Michigan; they number about 120 Sisters, spread throughout the world in 13 States and 6 countries. Each Sister of Mercy offers her life to be the convergence point between the mercy of the Lord and the misery of mankind. The ways in which a Sister of Mercy of Alma, Michigan serves Holy Mother Church in the apostolate are various, but they are characterized by their vow of service with an emphasis in healthcare, education, and the care of distressed women. 

The Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma helped to found the Council of Major Superiors of Women Religious in 1992 and continue to actively support the priesthood and religious life through formation workshops, times of retreat, authorship, etc.

The Religious Sisters of Mercy were originally founded in Dublin, Ireland by Venerable Catherine McAuley in 1831. They were one of the first institutes of active Religious Life, vowed to a life a prayer and the works of Mercy. In 1973, under the direction of the Sacred Congregation of Religious, the Religious Sisters of Mercy were refounded by 10 Sisters of Mercy and one Dominican Sister. The fist 11 Sisters were dedicated to preserving the Charism of Mercy so as to incarnate the Mercy of God the Father to the poor, sick, and ignorant. And this included preserving the essential elements of Religious Life, such as wearing a religious habit, praying in common, being obedient to a religious superior, etc.

**Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP)**

Caritas Manila believes that *education* is the *best social equalizer.*

YSLEP is Caritas Manila's flagship program. It forms future leaders from the poor by *providing scholarships and formation sessions* to around 5,000 youths nationwide.

**Caritas Damayan**

Damayan is the umbrella program of Caritas Manila that covers: (1) preventive health, (2) plant-based food security, (3) feeding and nutrition, (4) crisis intervention, and (5) disaster relief and rehabilitation.

Its sub-programs are:

1. **All is Well** - Through the help of its partners in the medical field, Caritas Manila *offers health services in 28 clinics* in Mega Manila.
2. **Gen129** -*\* This program advocates lifestyle change through plant-based living. In this program, we teach the poor \*how to grow their own food* for a more sustainable future.
3. **Munting Pag-asa** -*\* This program aims to \*counter malnutrition* by providing healthy supplemental meals to poor malnourished children for 120 days.
4. **Unang Yakap** -This program provides healthy meals and vitamins to *poor pregnant/lactating mothers* for 120 days to ensure the optimum health of the mother and their child. Beneficiaries also receive seminars on financial literacy to improve their living condition.
5. **Caritas in Action** - In cooperation with Radio Veritas 846, the CIA program provides medical, legal, hospital bill, laboratory, psychosocial, and burial assistance.
6. **Cadamay** - It *provides emergency relief response* within 24 to 72 hours by distributing food packs, hygiene kits, bedding materials, and shelter repair kits. It also provides livelihood assistance to victims of calamities and church reconstruction assistance to affected parishes.

**Restorative Justice**

It is a program designed to *help Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs)* heal their relationships with their families and the community. It also aims to help them be reintegrated into society as self-sufficient individuals.

**Sanlakbay**

Sanlakbay para sa Pagbabago ng Buhay is a parish/community-based rehabilitation program that aims to transform lives, restore human dignity, and *reintegrate* d*rug dependents* into their communities.

**Segunda Mana**

It is the donated goods program of Caritas Manila that *converts in-kind donations into cash* in our 47 charity outlets in Mega Manila to:

- Fund over 5000 tech-voc and college YSLEP scholars
- Support the livelihood of over 300 micro-entrepreneurs and their families from informal sectors like BASECO and Payatas
- Strongly promote the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle)

**Institute for Servant Leadership and Stewardship (ISLaS)**

ISLaS is the *volunteer arm of Caritas Manila* which mobilizes around 5,000 volunteers within the Archdiocese of Manila.

Parish-based leaders and volunteers undergo continuous training and values formation that mold them to become committed servant leaders. These volunteers enable us to efficiently and effectively implement various social services and development programs for poor families in their communities.

The Taube Center has developed an array of programs, which serve the Jewish communities in Poland and engage audiences from around the world. Constantly expanding its network of partner organizations, the Center has recently become a member of the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage. Taube Jewish Heritage Tours Taube Jewish Heritage Tours is a mission-driven, on-the-ground Jewish heritage tour service based in Poland. Our professional team of academics, guides, educators, and community leaders provide meaningful and engaging customized tours of Poland's multicultural landscape, infusing each encounter with illuminating personal stories and insights from those engaged in Polish Jewish life and committed to the preservation of Polish Jewish heritage. TJHTalks Series Having suspended our flagship program, Taube Jewish Heritage Tours, we launched TJHTalks in April 2020 as an interactive way to maintain contact with past and future tour participants and to broaden the Center's audience. Yerusha: Professional Development Program The year-long program, now in its second year, distinguishes itself from other Jewish professional development opportunities in that the operative language is Polish and all workshop facilitators are based in Poland. Resource and Educational Materials The Taube Center has developed a sophisticated set of resource materials in several languages that support our educational programs and are especially valuable for our study tour program. Our publications have been disseminated at the POLIN Museum and the Galicia Jewish Museum and through Polish embassies and cultural institutions around the world.

City Relief exists to create connections for the hurting and homeless to resources and hope.

City Relief uses mobile resource centers to assist people dealing with poverty and homelessness. These outreaches happen eight times a week in different areas of New York City and New Jersey. We serve hot meals, provide hygiene kits and socks, help our guests to feel safe and comfortable, invite our guests into community with staff, volunteers and other guests, treat them with dignity and compassion, and provide an opportunity to speak to our trained staff who will connect them to life-changing resources and a community of care.

We exist thanks to private donations and for as little as $1.05, you can provide a meal for someone that would have to choose between eating and another necessity. You’ll also be creating a system of wrap-around, holistic care for people that desperately need someone to catch them once they’ve fallen. Thank you for your donation!

Al-Mawrid is a foundation for Islamic research and education established by Javed Ahmed Ghamidi that emphasizes on learning Islam purely through its established sources, Quran and Sunnah, without external factors that have influenced the Muslim thought over the last several centuries.

Javed Ahmed Ghamidi formed Al-Mawrid back in 1983 in Lahore, Pakistan in order to propagate Islam as instituted by prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Al-Mawrid U.S. was established in 2014 in order to expand the reach of Ghamidi’s effort. In 2019, Al-Mawrid U.S. took on the initiative of establishing the Ghamidi Center of Islamic Learning in Dallas, Texas as a formal educational institute.

Since inception, Al-Mawrid’s aim has been to conduct research, educate people, and disseminate Islam based purely on Quran and sunnah, freeing it from external influences that have gradually clouded the religious thought of Muslims over the last 14 centuries.

The TOVP Foundation is the U.S. fundraising arm of the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium located in Mayapur, West Bengal, India.

TOVP Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Alachua, FL. which received its nonprofit status in 2016. It is the U.S. fundraising arm for the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium (TOVP) now under construction in the heart of ISKCON Mayapur, the World Headquarters of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. ISKCON Mayapur is a 600-acre complex located in the heart of West Bengal, India, with a flourishing spiritual, educational, social, cultural and philanthropic community of 5000+ residents since 1972.

6 million people visit annually and that is expected to quadruple after the opening of the TOVP in 2026 during a three-month-long celebration until March, 2027. Current programs include 5 schools for the material and spiritual education of residents and the local Bengali community, free meal distribution to over 1300 people daily, the Tribal Care Initiative, a Community Hospital, regular cultural festivals, business opportunities for local artists and craftsmen, a local agricultural development program, and much more.

Immanuel is a relatively large, established Lutheran congregation in Valparaiso, Indiana, with a baptized membership of more than 1250.  We are a congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.  Our congregational make-up reflects our community, including a mix of students and young adults, families with children, empty-nesters, and older adults.  We celebrated our 150th anniversary in 2014, and we look forward with hope to the next chapter God has in store for us.  We enjoy being together as brothers and sisters in Christ, and we welcome newcomers as blessings from God.  

Worship is the central activity of our life together.  Our worship style is liturgical, following the church year and using the traditional order, incorporating a wide variety of musical styles to accompany it.  We have a rich tradition of music in worship, which we value highly.  Holy communion is celebrated at all Sunday morning services and most Saturday evening services.  We welcome children in our worship, and we offer childcare for families that need it.

We value learning.  Congregation members participate in Sunday morning education and many small group Bible studies throughout the week. We are deeply committed to our school ministry (preschool and K-8) and its mission to help families form children in Christ who live with God, love to learn, and lead by serving. 

Immanuel serves the larger community in a variety of ways.  Gloria Dei Hispanic Mission provides worshiping, learning, and serving opportunities in Spanish.  A group home for developmentally challenged adults is located on the church property, and we welcome the residents as valued members of the body of Christ.  Immanuel operates a food pantry and a comfort dog ministry, supports ministries for needy men and women in Gary, and (along with other congregations in Valparaiso) provides a men’s homeless shelter.  Teams from Immanuel take short-term mission trips to locations both domestic and abroad.

That's a little bit about us, but we joyfully acknowledge that our story is not first or finally about us.  It's about God with us.  The ongoing story of this church could be told by its name. The word “Immanuel” means “God with us.” We cherish this name because we are a people in need of God’s presence to help us and guide us at all times.  Apart from the presence of God, we would be incapable of living well in the Story of Jesus. On our own, our efforts to follow his command to make disciples of all nations fall short. With Jesus and with his help, however, this work of God endures and grows even among us.

One of the last things Jesus said to his disciples while he was still with them on earth was this: “And behold, I am with you always to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). We find great encouragement in these words of promise, and we have found them to be true over the decades and as we continue to worship, learn, and serve in his name.   The Story of Jesus is playing out today and it includes people like us. It’s a great joy to live in this present age as followers of Jesus. As we follow Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations, we ask him to dwell with us. We pray for his help. To be a first responder to natural disasters within the United States, ready to send shipments of prepacked family food boxes, water, infant care, water, new clothing, cleaning supplies and other goods as soon as possible to the leadership of a local Church of Christ in the vicinity of the disaster. Hoping that the residents of that community can see that the church cares about them. These supplies are to be distributed to all victims of the disaster in the community, regardless of their race, sex, religion, or background. This work will provide an opportunity to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost.

Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV) 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

All of this is only possible through the inspiration, empowerment and direction of the Holy Spirit.

We are a community-based, non-profit organization that serves the homeless and at-risk populations of the Mid-Peninsula. We establish environments and build relationships where community volunteers can provide food and clothing, as well as referrals for shelter, addiction recovery, and other personal support.

Street Life Ministries (or SLM) began in 2001 at the downtown Menlo Park train station. Today, due to the help of many people, it now serves over 35,000 meals a year, five nights a week, in Menlo Park, Palo Alto and Redwood City. For 20 years SLM gatherings have built a reputation as the one consistent place the homeless can count on. Whether it is a holiday, a cloudy or rainy day, SLM never varies from the set schedule, giving the homeless a stable option throughout the year.

SLM is an established 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a board of directors, and is very different from many “feeding ministries.” It serves a unique role in the way it cares for the homeless and the hungry in San Mateo/Santa Clara Counties. Hot, home cooked meals served in outdoor venues are less threatening for our homeless neighbors, fostering a safe environment for relational connections to develop with the SLM leaders and volunteers. These connections build trust for guiding homeless friends toward healthier decisions, medical assistance, detox, rehab, housing, mentorship and counseling. In addition to food and encouragement, SLM provides clothing, toiletry kits, sleeping bags, medical supplies, temporary shelter, recovery services and job assistance to those in need. 

SLM is also unique because it places its staff and its services “in the streets”, and “in the camps”, where the homeless live. It reaches more homeless people directly in those street locations than traditional professional service agencies. Additionally, no other homeless non-profit in the area provides local residents with the large number (over 6000 hours per year, estimated) of volunteer hours of opportunity to meet directly and be served on a face to face basis as we do. Homeless folks need love, care, trustworthy friends, and reliable, regular support to improve and/or recover. SLM is “in the trenches and on the street” every day, helping our homeless neighbors. SLM’s outreach can be accessed at all hours of the day and night.
