KTH Research Fund gives alumni and friends the chance to support gifted students and be a part of achieving new breakthroughs and contributing to technical solutions to some of the biggest challenges humans face, focusing on energy and climate, water and food, health and aging. Apart from research funding, resources are also required to create laboratory environments as well as investment in equipment and infrastructure.

The following initiatives are ways that you can make an important difference today.
UC Berkeley-KTH Summer research internship program – this is a unique opportunity to support the development of a program for students at Bachelor's and Master's levels under a recently signed agreement for collaboration between UC Berkeley and KTH. A handful of students per year will be traveling in each direction, the first group of students in the summer of 2024. Each student will be working on a research project under the supervision of a faculty member.
KTH Ukraine Scholarship Program - though the KTH Ukraine Scholarship Program you can make a great difference by helping KTH support researchers and students fleeing from Ukraine. KTH offers researchers the possibility to continue his/her research at KTH as a guest researcher. KTH is also working to provide scholarships for gifted students from Ukraine.
KTH Baltic Tech Initiative - KTH is engaged in cross-disciplinary research projects aimed at working for the future health of the Baltic Sea. Through innovative technological research, such as sensors for monitoring the ecosystem in the sea and environmentally friendly transport systems, KTH researchers and students work to create local solutions that can be used for global water challenges.
Tax-efficient giving from the US Donors based in the USA can support our activities in a tax efficient way by making a contribution to the "American Friends of KTH" at the King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS). Because KBFUS is a public charity, within the meaning of Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) of the IRC, donors may claim the maximum tax benefits allowed by US tax law for their contributions.
