ARTivism Virginia

Since 2017, ARTivism has been collaborating with artists and activists to support coalitions of grassroots organizations, regional advocates and national allies to fight new fracked gas pipelines, power plants and compressor stations in Appalachia and the Piedmont. We’ve successfully assisted in the campaigns against the canceled Atlantic Coast Pipeline, Chickahominy Pipeline and Power Station, and continue to serve in the long fights to defeat the Mountain Valley Pipeline, the MVP Southgate extension, the proposed MVP Boost and Swann Compressor Station, as well as the the Williams Transco SSEP.

Our services have included coordinating grassroots outreach and collaboration, event production, film & photography, messaging strategy, graphic design, music, art, dance, puppetry, set decoration, audio reinforcement, spoken word, stage management, and more.
