ARTivism Seedtime Funding Drive

Raised
$460
Goal
$15,000

Springtime means planting time, friends and neighbors – and we're tending the garden as well at ARTivism Virginia, where we're plowing into another year of resistance to new fracked gas infrastructure in Central Appalachia and the Piedmont.

We're pushing ahead in the fights against the MVP Southgate and Transco SSEP pipelines – and are helping to organize community members, regional advocates and allies to stop the proposed MVP Boost project and its Swann Compressor Station planned for Eastern Montgomery County, Virginia. With an experienced and passionate coalition, we hope to continue to strengthen that organizing through our support in the arts.

Through donations to ARTivism, we're able to collaborate with and uplift the work of our coalition partners through visual arts, graphic design, music, spoken word, film, photography, event planning and production, messaging strategy, outreach and so much more – connecting artists to activists and creating welcoming invitations for both newcomers and longtime movement friends.

If you would like to plant some seeds as well this spring in bolstering our long term arts and organizing work, please consider becoming a monthly supporter of ARTivism!

To donate by check, please make your check payable to Virginia Organizing and write ARTivism Virginia on the memo line. Mail to:
