Wintergreen Adaptive Sport

For 30 years, Wintergreen Adaptive Sports has created opportunities for children, adults, and veterans with disabilities to experience adaptive sports and outdoor recreation.

Our highly trained volunteers provide individualized instruction designed around each participant’s abilities and goals. The impact goes far beyond a day on the mountain. Adaptive sports can build confidence, independence, new skills, and a sense of belonging that participants carry with them long after a lesson ends.

We believe cost should never be a barrier to participation. Donor support helps us purchase and maintain specialized adaptive equipment, train volunteers, provide scholarships, and deliver safe, high-quality programs for the people we serve.

As a small, volunteer-powered organization, every gift makes a meaningful difference and helps us create more opportunities for people with disabilities to discover what’s possible.
