Our mission Founded in 2016, WeThinkCode is committed to sourcing unemployed youth from underserved communities, providing them 16 months of world class training in software development and placing them into full time employment as junior software engineers on graduation. We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to fulfill their potential and reach for a better life, for themselves, their families and their communities. We make this possible for hundreds of young people through the generous contributions of our donors. With your help, we are providing young South Africans equal access to higher education and the chance to participate in the formal economy; opportunities which would not be possible without this intervention. Over 65 companies hire our graduates. How your contribution can change a life All contributions to WeThinkCode are invested directly into: Training young people to become full stack software developers
Scaling the organisational reach, by launching new campuses, modules and inclusion initiatives like our WomenThinkCode= programme .

Equip a Future Coder!

Help Us Bridge the Digital Divide WeThinkCode_ is transforming young South Africans into world-class software developers — no coding experience required, just potential and passion. Our Mission: Train unemployed youth with high aptitude to become market-ready developers through our innovative learning environment. Training at our TVET College partner campuses kicks off in October, and we need your help to raise R2.7 million to equip the incoming cohorts with 150 laptops and monitors at their respective campuses. Every donation directly translates to a young person gaining the skills to build their future and contribute to South Africa’s digital economy. Join us in coding a better tomorrow, one coder at a time!
