Solving some of today's greatest challenges starts with access to affordable, updated, high quality data – data currently unavailable in many emerging economies. PLACE provides high-resolution, high accuracy mapping data for rapidly growing cities in Africa and small island states dealing with the complexities of expanding populations, the impacts of climate change and a myriad of other challenges.

With PLACE data, governments can better understand where and how much to invest to serve citizens, civil society can ensure transparency and accountability, academia can more accurately monitor change over time, and businesses can possess key information needed to grow and create jobs.
