The Life Story Initiative funds survivor-led and survivor-centered organizations working to end sexual exploitation and trafficking, support survivors, and change the systems that make exploitation possible..
Sexual exploitation falls hardest on girls, women, gender-expansive and LGBTQ people, people of color, Indigenous communities, and immigrants, because of the structural inequities that shape who is most exposed and least protected. That is where we focus our work.
We partner deeply with survivors, grantees, and allies across the field. We fund and mobilize investment toward organizations building capacity across child welfare, education, healthcare, housing, criminal justice, and policies that support mothers and expand real choice. We support direct services that walk alongside survivors navigating safety, autonomy, and self-determination. We connect and build sustainability for the field, because no single organization ends exploitation alone, and the leaders closest to this work are doing transformational work at a fraction of the scale it demands.
Addressing exploitation means meeting people where they are today and building the conditions for something different tomorrow. We can only do that together.
Your donation makes a real difference to the survivors, leaders, and communities at the heart of this work. Thank you.
