Research rooted in local expertise
Policies affecting abortion, contraception, and pregnancy care are constantly changing on both state and national levels. We strive to understand the systems, places, and people that have been—and continue to be—the most impacted. We lean into our longstanding relationships in Texas and beyond, leveraging our expertise in local and regional contexts.
Our collaborative includes social scientists, healthcare providers, legal scholars, and policy experts. We work with community organizations and other partners to advance a shared vision of equitable reproductive health policies for people in all communities.
We conduct original research and analyze existing data to create meaningful results. Using our findings, stakeholders can implement deliberate strategies to
· improve access to contraception
· remove barriers to abortion care, and
· advance evidence-based, person-centered policy.

With your help, we can get facts about the impact of abortion bans and threats to contraception into their hands – fast. Our latest research lifts up the experiences of how survivors of sexual assault and people experiencing pregnancy complications are affected by unworkable abortion exceptions , documents the challenges young people face getting confidential healthcare , and demonstrates the importance of people getting the birth control they want to use . Our fundraising effort will help us publish resources from our research that are free and available to those that can use it NOW to make change.
