Our mission is to democratize health, agricultural entrepreneurship and food security through Remotestead’s platform and STEM education!

Remotestead is a Saint Louis, Missouri based non-profit focusing on agri-tech civil-utility designed to empower autonomous families, organizations, and individuals with direct control over decentralized, remotely managed urban & rural homesteads.

Remotestead’s platform provides access to comprehensive software and hardware solutions that enable local, nutritious, organic food production across both vacant urban lot revitalization sites and land zoned for agriculture!

**Remotesteading is for everyone!** Whether your an expert farming 500 acres for over 50 years on generational farmland or a novice with NO farming experience that’s never stepped foot on a farm or are somewhere in between the two; Remotestead’s platform enables you to improve health, instantly engage in agricultural entrepreneurship, reduce dependency on centralized food systems and engage in STEM education!

Missouri Coalition for the Environment is a 501(c)(3) environmental organization advocating to protect people and the environment.

We are a 56 year old environmental organization working to protect human health and the environment. Missouri is home to over 6 million people. MCE’s work benefits every one of them. We have approximately 800 members and 14,000 supporters.

Areas of focus for our organization include:

- Climate Change: lowering greenhouse gas emissions and improving climate resilience
- Hazardous Waste: supporting local groups in identifying and advocating for the removal of toxic and radioactive waste in their communities
- Empowering Residents: we actively support local community groups to identify their own concerns and craft plans to address environmental health and justice issues 

Some of our recent accomplishments include:

- In one of the most significant achievements in our 56 year history, MCE played a central role in passing an amendment to the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) in 2025 - a long-overdue step toward justice for Missourians harmed by radioactive weapons waste.
- During 2025, we also helped shepherd a bill in the Missouri legislature that expands testing for hazardous waste in the St. Louis area.
- We have guided dozens of community groups, municipalities, and state agencies on how to regulate data centers in a way that protects the environment and human health, and this has led to multiple proposed ordinances and state laws on this issue.
