The Rare Species Conservatory Foundation is dedicated to preserving biodiversity through grass-roots conservation programs rooted in sound science. RSCF employs the "Flagship Species" concept to identify and conserve high-profile, priority species in order to leverage protection for the ecosystems they represent.

RSCF's South Florida facility houses critically endangered species. We specialize in creating breeding and recovery strategies for some of the world's most vulnerable species and ecosystems. From captive breeding and reintroduction to land management and environmental policy, RSCF's teams of biologists, students and animal care specialists create targeted strategies and solutions to protect and preserve wildlife and wild places. Extinction is not an option.
