Each donation directly contributes to the protection of 79 km of critical nesting beaches, where an average of 2,358 nests are safeguarded annually. With your help, we can conduct daily night surveys during the seven-month nesting season, protecting these nests from threats like poaching, predation, and wave action. Donations enable us to: Employ and train local technicians who monitor and protect major nesting sites in the Yucatan Peninsula. Relocate vulnerable nests at risk of inundation, increasing hatchling survival rates. Conduct beach clean-ups to maintain safe nesting environments. Deliver environmental education programs to raise awareness in local communities about the importance of sea turtle conservation.
