Pico Union Project is a vibrant cultural center that builds community health, resilience, and neighborhood revitalization in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles. We strive to be a source of light and equity for all, providing the community with access to fresh nutritious food, healthcare services, creativity classes, and opportunities for meaningful paid work.

The Pico Union Project is honored to be supported by contributions from generous individuals like you and partnerships with some of the most respected and innovative organizations in the country to create programs and produce events where we learn, share and love our neighbors, together.
Group Verda Pico Union Project’s award-winning community beautification initiative. Local residents are hired to work with volunteers to plant and care for local gardens, trees, and parkways within a 24-square-block area surrounding the Pico Union Project.
Vida Sana Every Friday we open our parking lot for a Vida Sana, a Farmers Market featuring fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy living workshops to 500 neighborhood families.
Súper Miércoles Every Wednesday we offer guitar, art, taekwondo, and ESL classes and a community dinner for all in attendance.
The Shabbat Table is a monthly Friday night dinner where people of all backgrounds break bread together and connect through shared stories, poetry, and song.
PUP Partners pairs sixteen 11th grade mentees from the Pico Union community with 16 adult mentors, building pathways to higher education for youth participants.
Arts and Cultural Events Our 375 seat sanctuary hosts music, theater, poetry, art and dance performances, featuring local artists and performers from around the world. More than a venue; we are a collaborative space open to the entire community
