At Partnership With Native Americans (PWNA), we believe in a brighter, self-sufficient future for Native American communities. For over a quarter-century, we have served as a trusted lifeline for people living on remote, isolated, and under-resourced reservations. As the only Native-serving charity operating on 60 reservations year-round, we bridge the gap between outside resources and the communities that need them most.
Through our powerful network of over 1,000 local reservation partners, we deliver hope, dignity, and real solutions to 250,000 Native Americans every single year.
What We Do: Our High-Level Impact
We don't just provide aid; we collaborate with tribal communities to respect and support their self-determined goals. Our work focuses on three pillars of transformation:
- Material Aid: Trucking millions of pounds of critical necessities—like food, water, and clothing—directly into remote areas that other organizations simply cannot reach.
- Educational Support: Empowering the next generation of Native leaders through scholarships, literacy initiatives, and vital school supplies.
- Community-Based Services: Supporting long-term health, food sovereignty, and community development to create lasting, generational change.
Why Your Support Matters Today
When you donate through your employee giving program, you become a vital part of "The PWNA Way"—a mission rooted in stewardship, volunteerism, and deep cultural respect. Because we operate our own highly efficient warehouse and distribution system across states like South Dakota and Arizona, we maximize every single dollar to ensure it goes directly into the hands of families who need it most.
Your dollar goes further here. Every contribution helps us buy goods at volume discounts and safely transport them across thousands of miles.
