Music for Seniors connects area musicians with older adults through live and interactive music programs designed to engage, entertain and educate seniors.

Our Free Daytime Concert Series is open to the public and provides live musical entertainment, giving older adults the opportunity to get out and enjoy some music. All of our concert venues are accessible, and we utilize a variety of venues to reach a diverse population.

Our Learning Labs include one-day workshops as well as 6-week consecutive learning sessions giving older adults the opportunity to gather with friends - or make new ones! - while strengthening their minds by learning something new. Learning Labs include songwriting, percussion, ukulele, and harmonica.

Outreach Programming happens in communities including (but not limited to) retirement communities, assisted living, nursing, and memory care residences.

All Music for Seniors programming is carefully curated and designed to maximize the benefit for the participants, including preventing and slowing the progression of neurodegenerative diseases that come with aging including Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, and more; reduce isolation and loneliness, stimulate memory, and much more.
