Mujeres Unidas y Activas (MUA)

MUA is a grassroots organization of Latina and Indigenous immigrant women with the mission of growing our personal and community power for social and economic justice. By creating a welcoming environment of understanding and confidentiality, MUA empowers and educates our members through mutual support and training to be leaders in their own lives and in the community. Through being active in diverse local and statewide coalitions, MUA members participate in advocacy campaigns for immigrant rights, worker rights, and gender equity.
