To educate, empower, and inspire Gen Z and Gen Alpha students by providing hands-on STEM experiences, leadership opportunities, and career-oriented skill development. Through robotics, innovation challenges, and community engagement, we prepare young minds to become ethical leaders, creative problem-solvers, and changemakers in a rapidly evolving world.
To create a sustainable ecosystem of STEM learning and leadership where every student has access to the tools, mentorship, and opportunities needed to thrive. Keystone STEM Robotics envisions a future where youth innovation drives technological progress, community resilience, and global impact—shaping a world that is inclusive, innovative, and sustainable.
KSA Offers three programs:
BLAST Robotics Program (FIRST Robotics Competition Team): is often called he “Varsity Sport for the Mind.” Students design, build, and program a 120-pound industrial-grade robot to compete in high-energy regional and national tournaments. Our Blast Robotics Team 10989 brings together high school students from across the Greater Philadelphia Region to collaborate, innovate, and apply real-world engineering principles. FRC teaches more than robotics — it builds confidence, integrity, and the mindset to solve real-world challenges.
Venturing Crew Program Partnered with Scouting America: An innovative youth development program integrating the Venturing model with a specialized focus on robotics and STEM. Participants gain hands-on experience in robotics, engineering, coding, teamwork, leadership, and community service while developing technical and life skills.
Robotics Summer Camp: An immersive, hands-on STEM program where students design, build, program, and test robots while learning engineering fundamentals, CAD modeling, coding, design thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving, culminating in a team-based robotics challenge.
Key partnerships / collaborators:
Scouting America, Venturing Crew 181: An affiliated organization supporting its Venturing Crew and robotics programming.
FIRSTxMIT: BLAST Robotics officially initiated a partnership with FIRSTxMIT focused on long-term STEM capacity building, mentorship development, and sustainable program growth.
EADEH Enterprises: Provided an in-kind workspace and mentorship, enabling BLAST Robotics to have a dedicated build facility.
Penn State Great Valley: Providing access to facilities and expertise when additional fabrication or machining capability is required.
Delaware County Community College (DCCC): Providing access to facilities and expertise, dual enrollment, pre-apprenticeships, a shared Fab Lab/training center, instructors, and workforce pathways.
Industry mentor/support network: Mentors were secured from Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division, Lockheed Martin, Comcast, and Maersk.
