A local Indonesian NGO founded in 1999 at the height of Indonesia’s economic crisis. Over two decades, IDEP aims to manifest community resilience in harmony with nature through the Permaculture approach.
IDEP is dedicated to enhancing community resilience by promoting local resource sovereignty, preserving culture and environment, enhancing capacities, and strengthening strong partnerships with various parties.
To address socio-economic, environmental crises, disaster, and inequalities, IDEP delivers these strategies: 1. Permaculture for sustainable livelihoods. 2. Community disaster management. 3. Capacity building via training. 4. Public education through creative media.
