Hope Land Congo

Hope Land Congo is a non-profit organization founded in 2014 to promote sustainable, inclusive development and climate resilience in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). We believe every person — woman, youth, or adult — deserves to live with dignity, opportunity, and hope.

We work at the heart of vulnerable communities in Eastern DRC, particularly in Goma and Bukavu, where ongoing armed conflict, poverty, and displacement disproportionately affect young people and women. Despite these challenges, we empower local actors through hands-on training, entrepreneurship, and environmental action.

• 15,000+ youth trained in green entrepreneurship, agriculture, and innovation
• 530+ small agri-businesses launched — 65% led by women
• 1,500 youth engaged in agroecology and climate action
• 12 national and international partnerships secured

🌱 Flagship Programs

• AgroTour International – A regional forum connecting young agripreneurs across Africa (Kigali, Nairobi, Lusaka, Arusha)
• AgriSchool Academy – A 7-day immersive training in eco-farming, innovation, and rural entrepreneurship
• Youth Eco-Citizens Forum (FOJEC) – Climate education and civic engagement by and for youth, especially girls
• AgroVolontaire-Congo – A volunteer program to support local sustainable farming and food security

🔭 2025–2030 Vision

We aim to:

• Launch school-based microfarms and community-led sustainable school canteens
• Expand the AgriExchange program to connect Congolese and global agripreneurs
• Strengthen women’s leadership in agribusiness and climate justice
• Scale up climate education and agroforestry in crisis-affected areas
