We invest in the land around Harmony Montessori to keep the legacy of outdoor education alive for preschoolers & their families.
Harmony Land Caretakers invests money and time in following three areas.
- Safe access for all ages that ensures preschooler exploration and educational experiences
- Preschool-friendly exhibits
- Outdoor education programs tailored for preschoolers or their educators
Our initial focus is to improve safe access to the land at the Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary for the preschool community which includes a range of ages — from the littlest ones to our community’s elders.
As safe access improves, we will add educational exhibits that preschoolers and their family can use to learn about the nature around them. We also envision hosting outdoor education programs, to build on the deep legacy of naturalists who have taught on this land.
