She understood a fundamental truth: a story unrecorded and unpreserved is a legacy at risk. She taught me that our history is held in our hands, in our voices, and in the courage it takes to write it down. In honor of her life and the launch of my book, Holding Time: In the Middle of Always - the somatic practice that was the vehicle for writing our mother-daughter story, I am building an Army of Stories . While my work focuses on preserving the legacy of mothers and daughters today, this fund is dedicated to the future.
