Diaspora Groceries Cares

Diaspora Groceries Cares is a community-centered nonprofit advancing food access, health equity, and economic opportunity in communities historically impacted by disinvestment. Grounded in the belief that food is medicine and culture is power, we strengthen local food ecosystems by increasing access to healthy, culturally relevant foods and supporting small food entrepreneurs.

Through community activations, partnerships, and small-business support, Diaspora Groceries Cares connects wellness, culture, and commerce. Our work not only addresses immediate food access needs, but also builds pathways to ownership, income, and long-term community wellbeing by investing in local producers and community-rooted solutions.
