Community health housing and social education (CHHASE) is a Grassroot Indian Non-Profit organization (NGO) Situated at Pannur village, 50 Km from Chennai, tiruvallur district, Tamil nadu state-India.
The organization was founded in the year 2001, by the group of Social minded people, who are interested in social work. CHHASE is an organization helping marginalized under privileged youth, women & Girls in India.
CHHASE is in promotion of Under privileged children education, Old age home, providing of monthly food groceries to neglected elders, Women Empowerment, Sustainable Livelihood, Girls Education, Gender Equality, Child Rights & Welfare, Agriculture, Environmental and Water issues for the Marginalized & deprived sections of the community.
CHHASE is registered under the Tamil Nadu societies Registration act 25 of 1975. The Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), 2010. 12A and 80G section of Income Tax Act, 1961. ISO-9001-2015 certified, 2022 Top Rated Great Nonprofit and also CAF approved Non profit.

Save neglected elders from starvation
Less privileged elders need our love and care. This project will provide meal, medical care and recreation to 57 homeless old age persons. Daily we provide nutritious food to destitute elder, who are neglected by their families. Due to poverty, some families not able to feed these older persons. Among 57 poor old age persons, some of them use to beg at neighbor houses, nearby locations to feed themselves. We provide nutritious meals and dignified care to 57 neglected, homeless elderly people rescued from streets, graveyards, and makeshift huts. Our mission is to restore confidence and eliminate hunger and begging among vulnerable seniors. We serve wholesome Indian-style meals featuring spiced vegetable sauces, rice, pickles, curd, and eggs. Your sponsorship delivers essential food donations that directly sustain these poor elders. Help us ensure they live their remaining days with dignity. Challenge Many poor elderly people have lost traditional respect, facing severe neglect, harassment, and ill-treatment by their own families. Stranded by poverty and aging, they suffer from starvation, lack of clothing, physical health issues, and psychological disorders. Despair drives some to public streets for begging, while severe humiliation pushes others to suicide. These helpless senior citizens desperately need timely food, basic shelter, and immediate care to survive. Solution We sponsor nutritious daily lunches for 57 impoverished elderly people. Each meal includes Indian-style spiced vegetables, rice, pickle, curd, and an egg. This support ensures they eat on time without begging on the streets or depending on estranged children. Thanks to these food donations, our senior citizens remain healthy, confident, and independent enough to manage their own personal care daily.

Educate under privileged - Make a Better Life
This project will provide educational kits (uniform, school fees, books, school bag, notebooks, pen, pencil, stationary, etc.) to more than 1200 underprivileged poor students of rural regions in Tamil nadu so that they may be able to develop their educational standard. This project will help the marginalized children to get better opportunities to be educated and to contribute in the development of society.
