Catalina Outdoor Adventure Club

I’m proud to introduce you to the Catalina Outdoor Adventure Club (COAC)— a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization born from a deep love for the outdoors and a powerful belief in the life-changing impact outdoor recreation can have on a person.

COAC was created to expose youth to the numerous outdoor recreational opportunities available throughout Catalina Island. Our mission is to educate and facilitate guided outdoor recreational adventures—from hiking, camping, and paddling to hunting, fishing and archery and everything in between. Through these experiences, we aim to develop a person’s skills, knowledge and abilities while instilling a deep respect and appreciation for the outdoors.

The COAC board consists of dedicated public servants and is entirely volunteer based. Our vision is to change lives through adventure. Whether it’s the first time someone steps on a trail, catches a fish or simply sees the stars without city lights— these are moments that empower and inspire.

We invite you to join us on this mission. Whether as a volunteer, donor, partner, or participant—you can be part of helping someone discover the power outdoor recreation can have on nurturing the human mind, body and spirit.
