Big Puddle
An organization focused on bridging the gaps in healthcare and human services. It received its nonprofit status in 2023.
The Big Puddle (TBP) was founded in 2023 by Maria Duerson, a parent of a child with autism. Maria is the owner of Umbrella Functional Consulting & Support Team, an adult disability service provider. Her goal was to establish a charity focused on improving services for all individuals. Umbrella, a philanthropic organization, decided that the community needs a place to get support where there isn't any. Our board was selected from members of the adult disability services community of providers, who were parents of a child with disabilities, service providers for disability services, or both. Moving forward we plan to build relationships with hospitals, MH facilities, housing groups, and service providers to integrate compliant organizations and foundations for the good of all people.

THE BIG PUDDLE "A NIGHT TO REMEMBER" GALA
I am Maria Duerson, a Behavioral Health Clinician and Autism Mom, and Founder of The Big Puddle. Founded in quarter four of 2023, The Big Puddle will host a first gala at The Fuge in Warminster, PA On October 5th, themed "A Night to Remember". The Big Puddle's mission and vision is to eliminate hurdles in accessing absent care and support for people with disabilities, medical fragilities, homeless risk, and mental health challenges. The Big Puddle will host a first gala at The Fuge in Warminster, PA On October 5th, themed "A Night to Remember". The event will feature raffles, a silent auction, a living art exhibit themed "A Night to Remember", swag bags, and live entertainment. The event is being marketed by Beasley Media Group with a reach of over 1M people living in Pennsylvania, and beyond through its radio, CTV, and social media marketing. The proceeds of the event will go towards our mission and vision to eliminate hurdles for those who need it.
