What We Do

WAKE is dedicated to empowering women and girls through technology, education, and collaboration. We connect social impact leaders and organizations with the consulting, tools, and training they need to enhance their impact. Our programs also inspire and prepare young women and girls to develop their leadership skills and become changemakers. By fostering global collaboration, we build cross-cultural connections, unite passionate volunteers with inspiring community leaders, and strengthen the global fight for equity and social justice.

Why We Do It

Globally, women are leading social enterprises addressing critical issues like reproductive rights, gender-based violence, economic empowerment, and access to healthcare and education. WAKE’s programs bolster these organizations and leaders, enhancing their effectiveness, resilience, and sustainability in the fight for a more just and equitable future.

Who We Serve

We support social entrepreneurs, community organizers, and nonprofit leaders tackling critical community issues. Additionally, we empower young women and girls through leadership and technology programs, preparing them as future leaders and innovators in their communities.

WAKE for Ukraine: Building a Regional Network of Support

This giving season, support WAKE’s mission to empower Ukrainian refugee women and the organizations helping them rebuild. Your donation will fund Tech2Empower for Ukraine , a program providing mentorship, skills training, and critical resources to women displaced by war. We’re expanding our work to foster regional connections by uniting Ukrainian women living in Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia. With your help, WAKE will bring together women leaders and organizations from across the Baltics to create a stronger, more connected network of support. Through collaboration, we’ll build community and equip women with the tools they need to rebuild their futures and contribute to their resilience. For 10 years, WAKE has empowered women in over 20 countries, transforming challenges into opportunities through connection, leadership, and action. Your support this Giving Tuesday ensures we can deepen our impact in 2025, not only for Ukrainian women, but for leaders in Cambodia, Rwanda, and here at home as well. Join us in creating lasting impact.
