At First Tee – West Michigan, we are empowering kids and teens to be the best version of themselves. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a specialized character-building and life-skills curriculum, we create active learning experiences that help youth uncover their inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience.

What We Do:

Our trained coaches provide a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where young people (ages 7-17) learn skills that stay with them for life, including:

• Emotional Regulation: Understanding and managing emotions on and off the course.
• Goal Setting: Planning for the future and setting step-by-step milestones.
• Conflict Resolution: Navigating tough situations with respect and grace.
• The 5 Key Commitments: Pursuing Goals, Growing through Challenge, Collaborating with Others, Building Positive Self-Identity, and Using Good Judgment.
