TeamLease Foundation is a Section 8 & FCRA-registered organization dedicated to bridging the gap between education and employment for India’s underserved youth. We create pathways to dignity, opportunity, and financial independence for individuals from underserved communities, with a special focus on women, persons with disabilities, artisans, and other marginalized groups.
What We Do
Employability & Skilling Programs: We design and deliver training initiatives aligned with industry needs, ensuring underserved youth acquire job-ready skills and certifications.
Education & Scholarships: Through scholarships and individualized support, we help learners pursue higher education and complete their academic journey without financial barriers.
Work-Integrated Learning Programs (WILP): A scalable model combining online diploma/degree programs with paid apprenticeships in sectors like BFSI, Retail, Manufacturing, and E-Commerce. Participants earn while they learn and gain financial independence along with practical experience.
Women’s Empowerment: Dedicated interventions help women gain confidence, skills, and opportunities to join the workforce and achieve self-reliance.
Inclusion & Diversity: We actively work with communities including persons with disabilities, tribal youth, first-generation learners, and artisans, ensuring equitable access to education and employment opportunities.
Career Linkages: By connecting learners with internships, mentorship, and employment opportunities, we provide the final step from classroom to career.

Empowering Youth Through ‘Learn While You Earn’ Degrees
The Challenge For many young people in India, the dream of higher education feels out of reach. Financial struggles force them to choose work over studies. Even when they do graduate, too often their degrees don’t translate into job opportunities leaving them underprepared and unemployed. Three big barriers stand in their way: Lack of access to affordable higher education Limited opportunities to gain real-world work skills Financial insecurity during their studies This is where the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Program (AEDP) comes in a powerful solution that combines learning, earning, and skill development. The Solution: Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Program AEDP is a unique “learn while you earn” initiative designed to transform how education meets employability. Here’s how it works: Education + Apprenticeship : Students pursue their degree over 12, 24, or 36 months while engaging in structured apprenticeships within industries like IT, healthcare, manufacturing, and more. Monthly Stipend : Every participant receives a stipend, ensuring financial stability and independence while they study. Practical Skills for Life : Beyond academics, they gain problem-solving ability, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills that employers deeply value. Recognized Certification : Graduates walk away not just with a degree, but with documented industry experience — making them truly job-ready.
