Operating in northern Nigeria to serve children with severe and acute malnutrition, their model drops the average cost per child treated to just $94 (a more than 50% reduction ). They do it by working through community health workers (CHWs) – rather than doctors and nurses – and leveraging cutting-edge public health research. They equip their CHWs with a digital tool to triage children, ensuring world-class quality of care. They estimate it costs between $1,500 - $4,500 to save a life with their treatment program.
