The Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association is dedicated to creating and sustaining the best possible mountain bike trails and experiences in the Roaring Fork Valley - and Beyond.

Fulfilling this mission means advocacy and planning work, partnering with land managers, coordinating volunteers, and funding a hard working seasonal trail crew – all so you, your friends and family, and our visitors, can enjoy incredible mountain bike experiences from Aspen to New Castle.

RFMBA's vision is for world class mountain biking to be available for all types and levels of riders in the Roaring Fork Valley and connecting regions.

Why? Simply put, we believe world class mountain biking trails and amenities provide significant benefits for both locals and visitors.

Please note:
RFMBA was founded in 2008, has been a Chapter of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) since 2014, and is in good standing as a subordinate under IMBA’s 501-c3 non-profit IRS Group Exemption status (GEN # 5486). RFMBA's operations and financials are completely independent from IMBA's national organization efforts. This IRS status can sometimes show up in databases with a long string of words, all spelled out: "International Mountain Bicycling Association - Colorado - Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association - RFMBA". Some online forms can't fit the full name, and it can be confusing to only see the first 4 words listed for RFMBA; thanks for bearing with this level of detail with us!
