Youth Safety Champions Fellowship
We propose to launch a year-long Youth Safety Champions Fellowship to empower 100 youth (ages 18–25) as changemakers, peer educators, and first responders in their communities. Using a train-the-trainer model , fellows will be trained in gender-based violence prevention, community advocacy, and leadership. Each fellow will then implement localized safety initiatives—such as awareness workshops, data mapping of unsafe spaces, or Safe Circles for peer support—reaching hundreds more in their neighborhoods. Fellows will receive mentorship, technical support, and a small stipend to sustain their commitment. This structure ensures equity, enabling young leaders from diverse backgrounds to fully participate.
