I am a mom to three wonderful children and three beloved dogs. I also work full-time as a nurse. My family is fortunate to be healthy, to have a comfortable home, and to enjoy stable employment here in the United States. For these blessings, I am truly grateful. At the same time, whenever I see our dogs, I can't help but think about the countless stray animals that don't have the same love, safety, and care. I often feel that I could do more to help, even though life is already very busy. I started by supporting my mother's small feeding program in the Philippines. Every afternoon, she places bowls of food outside her home for stray dogs and cats. I have also donated to independent rescuers and bloggers who dedicate their time and resources to saving abandoned animals. Recently, I came across the PAWS website and immediately felt connected to its mission. As I explored the organization and learned more about its work, I discovered additional ways to help animals in need. While I can contribute financially, I also want to help raise awareness. I know there are many people like me - people who care deeply about animals and want to make a difference but may not know where to start. From November 8-10 Super Typhoon Uwan devastated Aurora Province bringing catastrophic winds, floods, and storm surges. Just days earlier, Typhoon Tino hit the south after 2 other storms in September. With all these back-to-back disasters, many people were forced to flee their homes and we're trying to help out. Vtamini, Cheekytweethart, and the vtuber community is raising funds to help aid those affected by the typhoons in the Philippines. Small donations go a long way and together we can make a difference!
