Health

Our vision is to relieve individual human suffering to improve the wellbeing of humankind and our planet.

Our mission is to conduct research, teach, and provide direct care using psychedelic medicine and other means to heal the minds and hearts of traumatized and vulnerable individuals and communities, alleviating transgenerational suffering.

Open Mind Collective was born out of a commitment to building a community of practitioners working together to serve vulnerable populations in need of effective and accessible mental health treatments, and to advance the field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy in responsible and innovative ways. We walk the path laid by a long lineage of practitioners who have inspired us to develop our research expertise, clinical services, and our training program with the values of inclusivity, mindfulness, and compassion, and with great respect for the potential of expanded states of consciousness in healing.

Help Us Conduct Vital Psychedelic Research

Open Mind Collective is proud to serve as a research site for two studies using psychedelic medicines to alleviate Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD). Our Beckley Psytech sponsored study will assess the impact of 5-MeO-DMT, and our Cybin sponsored study will assess the impact of a novel drug formulation of psilocin, the active metabolite of psilocybin. The individuals enrolled in our studies have experienced depression that has been resistant to multiple forms of therapy and medical intervention. TRD causes immense pain for those who suffer from it, driving some to take their own lives. It can also have a significant detrimental impact on their family, friends, and wider community. Your donation will support our capacity to conduct this potentially groundbreaking research by covering the gap between sponsor funds and Open Mind Collective's financial needs. Every dollar (or share of stock, or Bitcoin...) helps us accomplish our goal of better understanding these powerful medicines so we can alleviate the suffering of so many who cannot find peace and wholeness. Our team of clinicians is deeply grateful for your support.
