New Hope Community Ministries is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering low-income families in Haledon and Prospect Park, NJ. We believe in holistic transformation—providing food security, financial assistance, education, and supportive community programs that equip individuals to thrive.
Through our Food Pantry and The Harvest buying club, we address food insecurity by offering nutritious options at no cost or reduced prices. Our financial assistance programs help families navigate crises, while education and mentoring initiatives provide essential skills for long-term success. We also foster community connections through support groups, case management, and resource navigation.

Help Put Thanksgiving Food on a Neighbor’s Table
For families already stretching every dollar, Thanksgiving can bring one more difficult question: will there be enough food? Give Food, Give Hope helps local families access fresh produce, pantry staples, and Thanksgiving food through New Hope Community Ministries. Just as important, families are welcomed into an environment where they can choose food that works for their household, preserving dignity and giving them more than a pre-packed box. Your gift helps us stock the shelves, purchase fresh food, and serve more of our neighbors during the Thanksgiving season. $25 can help provide fresh produce. $50 can help stock the pantry. $75 can help provide holiday food for a family. Every gift helps make room at the table.

Help New Hope Expand Counseling & Care
Everyone needs someone to turn to when life becomes overwhelming. At New Hope Community Ministries, we are strengthening the ways we walk alongside individuals and families through counseling, case management, and compassionate care . Tonight, at our New Hope Topgolf event, we have a goal of raising $10,000 to help strengthen and expand this work. Your generosity helps New Hope provide counseling for people navigating difficult seasons, while also building stronger case management that can help individuals and families identify needs, connect with resources, set goals, and take meaningful next steps.
